One of the defining characteristics of a young child is his constant sense of wonder. Outside of his tiny home range, everywhere he goes and everything he sees is new to him. As he gets older and becomes more familiar with the world, knowledge replaces wonder, and fewer things cause him to ask, "Why?".
I smile when I stumble onto something that awakens the wonder in me.
